Meet Heather

Heather Millard, licensed in Parent and Family Education, is a parent educator and coach with more than fifteen years of experience supporting families through the joys and challenges of raising children. She began her career in Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) shortly after becoming a parent herself, while teaching and learning alongside families in the same stage of life.

With a Master's in Education Administration, Heather’s work has evolved to focus on trauma-informed parenting, mental health, attachment, and the ways our own histories shape how we show up for our children. Her approach blends research, real-life experience, and reflective practice, helping parents understand not just what their children are doing—but why.

Heather believes parenting is less about perfection and more about presence, repair, and growth. Her coaching approach honors the unique histories and stressors families carry, recognizing that growth happens when parents feel safe, supported, and understood.
